If you read the title the title you probably don’t want
either of those. Sour feet is just gross and sour shoes are arguably the same.
I would think that many people out there don’t know how to control this problem
but have tried many solutions. Foot odor sometimes runs in the family and could
be a medical condition but, who said you can’t treat it yourself? No one!
Say you have a busy day, walking around a lot. At the end of
the day you sit down, take your shoes off and an odor just smacks you across the
face. You’re wondering how that happened in one day right. Now you could buy
insole that’ll help the smell but who wants to spend that much money when you
could do it yourself?
If there is already odor in your shoes here are a couple
tips you could use:
Baking Soda – It is known that if you pour some in your shoe
after wearing them and leave them in overnight then in the morning dust those
off it should reduce the odor.
Freezer – Putting your shoes in a Ziploc bag and put them in
the freezer overnight will kill bacteria and fungus.
Washer – This should be obvious! IF your shoes can be washed
and has the right materials you should do this.
Now you say you just bought a new pair of shoes and want to
keep them fresh and clean. There a couple ways of preventing smell. Of course
washing your feet is a big thing to do! Don’t forget that, even though I don’t
know how you could. Also, you don’t have to wear the same shoes everyday change
it up sometimes. Wearing the same shoes everyday could cause them to smell
horribly.
